When considering a clutch unit that will give the best
acceleration refer to *MOI; the lower the MOI, the better throttle
response and deceleration. The torque rating, described in ft-lbs, is
the peak break-away torque of the clutch. Remember it’s very important
to balance performance and reliability; sacrificing a friction disc for
better MOI could result in increased maintenance as well as sacrificed
reliability. Whenever in doubt, it’s always better to over-clutch than
