Thank you for purchasing your new acrylic shiftball from MRT. We hope you enjoy the new feel and sense of style that this product is sure to bring you.

1. Remove your factory shift knob.
2. Remove the tape and jamnut located on the bottom of your new MRT shiftball.
3. Install the jamnut onto the shifter handle first, by screwing it almost to the last few threads on the handle.
4. Gently rotate the shiftball clockwise and be careful not to cross thread it as you go.
5. Gently turn the shiftball clockwise until it stops. After it has stopped DO NOT TURN IT ANY FURTHER! OVER TIGHTENING MAY CAUSE THE BALL TO FRACTURE. Then loosen the shiftball by turning counterclockwise only enough to line up the shift pattern or image on  the ball to where want it.
6. After you have the ball properly aligned, turn the jamnut counter-clockwise until it reaches the bottom of the shiftball. (You may have to adjust the balls orientation during this process.)
7. Using a wrench, gently turn the jamnut just enough until it prevents the shiftball from turning. (Yes you are now done!)
8. Time to take it out for a spin!!
