Thank you for purchasing the highest quality aftermarket exhaust tips….made specifically for the Mustang.  We trust you will find years of enjoyment from not only the appearance of your new rolled tip, but also from the sound improvements to your exhaust system.  The following are a few tips (no pun intended) for the installation.

  1. Slide the hanger rod into the slug welded to the tip, do not tighten the set screw yet.
  2. slide the band clamp onto the narrow end of the MRT tip
  3. Slide the both tips onto the exhaust pipe
  4. Slide the hanger rod into the factory rubber isolator
  5. Tighten the set screws located on slugs of the MRT tip (use a drop of loc-tite on the set screw)
  6. check the tip alignment from side to side, when happy with there position, tighten the band clamp, use caution to follow these torque parameters:

a. With Air or DC Nut-runner 47.5 ± 7.2 Nm

b. With Static torque wrench 54.2 ± 6.5 Nm

      c. NOTE: When using a nut-runner the spindle speed must not

exceed 400 RPM with our recommendation being 250 RPM.

Enjoy!!
