PLYMOUTH, Michigan (Oct 30, 2009) – MRT, an aftermarket company specializing in Ford vehicles, announces today the introduction of their 2009 SEMA vehicles: the 2010 MRT Best of SHO Taurus and the 2010 MRT Fusion T4.
The 2010 MRT Best of SHO enhances the Taurus SHO's performance through custom black cherry paint, black chrome trim, aftermarket wheels, customized hood, lowered suspension, and modified Powertrain. “We wanted to put a little more power to the ground,” says Scott Hoag, owner. “..so we gave the Taurus SHO a more street-aggressive stance and added some of our styling cues, with ground effects and a custom hood.” The MRT Best of SHO is also outfitted with a custom stainless-steel exhaust system and an audio entertainment system from Kicker.
The 2010 MRT Fusion T4 is based off the 2010 Ford Fusion with 6-speed manual transmission. MRT engineered this vehicle to "… jazz it up to have some fun from a styling and performance perspective without giving up fuel economy", says Hoag. This vehicle is customized through a stylish paint job on the roof, hood and spoiler, black chrome trim and H&R street performance coil-over suspension. The MRT Fusion T4 is topped off with a single intercooled turbocharger and is expected to produce 275 to 300 HP.
The 2010 MRT Best of SHO Taurus and 2010 MRT Fusion T4 will be on display at SEMA in Las Vegas, NV. Ask for MRT in the Ford booth.
