2005+ Hood
Struts |
MRT joined
design teams to develop hood struts for your 2005/6 or 1999-04 Mustang. These
struts eliminate the factory hood prop and give you the clean,
pleasing appearance every engine compartment deserves! Great for
show cars!
MRT Hood strut brackets are made out of laser cut aluminum, reuse OEM factory attachment points
( Direct bolt on!) and
require No holes drilled anywhere! These struts are
easy to install - the only tool required is a 10mm wrench! Will not
necessarily hold up aftermarket hoods.Some light
weight aftermarket hoods may bow just forward of the Hood Strut
Bracket, causing a gap between the closed hood and fender. ·
Some heavy aftermarket hoods may weigh too much for the Struts
to support in the open position.
All brackets are finished in black.

Manufactured from high pressure durable polyurethane that is
strong enough to endure the rigors of the road. Scoop perfect
fit for both base (V6) and GT (V8) Mustangs. Hood scoop installs
using OE approved 3M double face tape. Also included are pre cut
vinyl decals for the front recessed scoop inlets. Hood scoop is
non-functional and is for appearance purposes only. No drilling
or screws are required for installation. |

look. This spoiler attaches with plastic push pin fasteners to
stock GT front fascia and needs 2 holes drilled in the wheel well area. |

unique; they do not require drilling into your hood. You just adhere
them to your hood using the 3M bonding tape that is standard on this
Zinc Die Cast, Chrome Plated, weather resistant hood pins. The lanyards
and pins are stainless steel to maintain the quality appearance. Best
yet they work on every vehicle; early, late, domestic or imports. |

Billet Fuel Doors |
|
Tru-Billet doors were the first and only ones on the market made
from solid 6061-T6 aluminum billets, machined down to an exact
fit instead of being bent or cast into shape. This results in
a part that is lighter than the stock fuel door it replaces, yet
will take just about whatever abuse you want to throw at it.
After anodizing or plating, they are hand-assembled using
stainless steel hardware and delrin bushings for a perfect,
no-drill fit. Retention and closing of the door is accomplished
with cadmium-plated press-fit magnets and a striker plate that
is retained by stainless steel hardware, not loose-fitting
glued-in components. Installs in about ten minutes using common
hand tools, and they are available in different engraving
options and in a variety of finishes. |
